What’s it about?

his short, yet informative course provides Learners with the knowledge and practical competencies needed for the treatment of injuries and diseases that could occur whilst working in a forestry/agricultural specific environment. Topics covered are: extreme hot and cold temperatures, managing catastrophic bleeding, crush injuries and Lyme disease.

Who’s it for?

The QA Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid +F (RQF) qualification is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a forestry, agricultural or remote environment, such as tree surgeons and farmers.

How long is the course?

The content of this training is taught over 2 hours.

Time is set aside during the course for a suitable number of breaks.

Do I need any prerequisites?

No, you do not require any prior knowledge, experience or qualifications to attend this training.

Practical, hands on training

Training is made as practical and engaging as possible using videos, examples, practical exercises and scenarios to help create confident and competent first aiders.

Experienced trainers

Courses are delivered by those with real hands on experience of dealing with emergencies such as those from the emergency services and often Paramedics, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
