First Aid at Work (Annual Refresher)
The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (Annual Refresher) (RQF) qualification provides first aiders with the opportunity to undertake refresher training to practise their skills and update their knowledge on the latest first aid procedures. Attendance by employees ensures that employers continue to meet HSE guidelines which state that employers should ensure their first aiders remain competent to perform their role.

What’s it about?
Over a half day period, Learners will leave with a renewed confidence having had the opportunity to practise essential first aid procedures, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, recovery position, CPR, choking and more.
Who’s it for?
This qualification is specifically designed to allow qualified first aiders to update their first aid skills yearly, until re-qualification training is required.

Course information
How long is the course?
The content of this training is taught over 3 hours and is therefore delivered over half a day.
Time is set aside during the course for a suitable number of breaks.
Do I need any prerequisites?
No, you do not require any prior knowledge, experience or qualifications to attend this training.
Practical, hands on training
Training is made as practical and engaging as possible using videos, examples, practical exercises and scenarios to help create confident and competent first aiders.
Experienced trainers
Courses are delivered by those with real hands on experience of dealing with emergencies such as those from the emergency services and often Paramedics, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Train at your workplace or locally
For companies & organisations without a suitable training environment as well as individuals booking on to an open course, training is carried out at a suitable local venue with sufficient space to ensure a quality training experience.
